Kailua Ocean Front Hideaway

These videos were all taken at Turtle Cove (see location on Google Maps), just a couple blocks from the Kailua Ocean Front Hideaway.

On a clear water day you will usually see at least 3 or 4 turtles, and sometimes more if you stay longer.

There are a lot of fish right near where the canal comes out, and also out further as you go out towards the ocean area.

It is best to go at High Tide as it allows the Turtles to come in closer to shore. You can view the tides here.

You do not have to snorkel, at high tide you can just wade in less than waist deep water and see the turtles.
